GARNERING HIGHEST NUMBER OF VOTES IN LATEST NOV. 4TH ELECTION TALLY

Councilman Harry Sidhu has won re-election to a second term on
the Anaheim City Council garnering the highest number of votes in
the latest Orange County Registrar of Voters tally of the city’s
177 precincts.
His re-election bid received widespread support from elected officials
at every level of government and prominent community leaders. With
a proven track record of common sense leadership, Councilman Sidhu
has established himself as a true friend to the taxpayers –
protecting residents and business owners, alike, and striving to
improve the lives and opportunities for all of Anaheim.
Among the community notables joining Councilman Sidhu at a festive
election eve gathering were: Congressman Ed Royce; OC Supervisor/OCTA
Chair Chris Norby; Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle; Former Anaheim Mayor
Pro Tem Shirley McCracken; Former Anaheim City Councilman Frank
Feldhaus and Sally Feldhaus, Anaheim Chamber of Commerce Board Member;
Former Anaheim City Councilman Irv Pickler; Orange City Councilman
Denis Bilodeau; Dr. Havinder Sahota; and Dr. Nitin Shah.
“It has been a privilege to serve as an Anaheim City Council
Member, and I am so honored that the voters have provided me with
the opportunity to continue to represent them for a second term,”
said Councilman Sidhu.
“Under the current economic situation facing all who live,
work, and do business in our great city, I will work with Mayor
Pringle and my council colleagues to continue the innovative reforms
and the freedom-friendly, pro-business and pro-neighborhood policies
needed to keep Anaheim moving forward in a positive, economically
diverse, and fiscally sound direction.”
Harry Sidhu was first elected to the Anaheim City Council in 2004.
He currently serves on the City Audit Committee, has focused on
keeping fees low and managing costs as an Orange County Sanitation
District Director, and along with his City Council colleagues ensured
the protection of property rights through the successful passage
of a City Charter Amendment prohibiting eminent domain abuse. More
