UK MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi has strongly condemned the UK government following a serious data leak involving Afghan nationals who once worked alongside British forces. The criticism came after a court gag order related to the case was lifted, allowing him to speak openly.

In a candid interview with Times Radio, Dhesi called the entire situation “an absolute mess and wholly unacceptable.” He expressed outrage over the fact that Afghans who had risked their lives supporting British military personnel are now in danger because of the government’s failure to properly protect their information.

UK MP 'Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi' said:
“It is truly shameful that those who stood by our troops are now being exposed to risk,”, highlighting a growing concern for their safety.

The MP stressed that the UK has a duty to protect these individuals, not only out of responsibility but out of basic decency. He urged the government to act quickly and take full accountability for the error.

The data breach has sparked public concern and raised serious questions about how sensitive information related to Afghan allies is being handled. Dhesi’s remarks add to a wider call for urgent reforms and better protection for those who supported British efforts abroad.
