NRI Nancy Grewal, YouTube influencer, was brutally stabbed to death in LaSalle, near Windsor, sending shockwaves through the Indo-Canadian community. The 45-year-old social media personality was found with severe stab wounds late Tuesday night and later died from her injuries, according to police.

Authorities said officers responded to a report of a stabbing around 9:30 p.m. on Todd Lane in LaSalle. Emergency responders rushed Grewal to hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries shortly after. Police have described the case as a homicide and have launched an investigation.

Grewal was known online for her outspoken commentary on political and social issues related to Punjab and the Indian diaspora.

Investigators are seeking surveillance footage and information from residents in the surrounding area as they work to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the killing.
