NRI Savitha Shan identified as one of the 3 killed and 14 injured in Texas shooting

Ms. Savitha Shan, 21, student at the University of Texas at Austin, has been identified as one of the victims killed in a mass shooting outside a popular bar in Austin, Texas, early Sunday morning. The incident at Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden on West Sixth Street also left 14 people injured and has triggered a major investigation by local police and the FBI.

The gunman, Ndiaga Diagne, after he was killed by police. It shows the clothing he was wearing during the attack, including a shirt with a design similar to the Iranian flag.
