No link with Deb kidnapping: BNLF

The Bru National Liberation Front (BNLF) have denied any involvement in the kidnapping of NRI businessman, Pratul Deb.

BNLF president, Surjamoni Reang, said here that the outfit had no link with the abduction of Deb from Hailakandi last year.

Reang demanded an inquiry into the kidnapping case and hoped that the guilty will be punished.

The police suspects BNLF to be involved in the kidnapping case of Deb, the brother-in-law of Assam Minister, Gautam Roy.

The CBI is already investigating the case.
