64’Th Indian Republic Day Celebration in Irvine CA

Indian Association of CA presented amazing 64th Republic day celebration in city of Irvine at Bharat community hall at Mandir. Show started with high note, Bharat mata ki Jai with freedom march led by the show organizer and followed by hundreds of participants. Children dressed in color full fancy dresses waving Indian flag smile on their face reminded everyone their own school days . Procession started from one side of the hall marched around the Mandir and came back in the main hall. Back ground music Mere desh ki dharti sona ugale brought new patriotic current in the hall. By this time magic of tri colors of Indian flag has taken over the festivity.
Dinner and social hour started around 5 pm .Dinner was catered by Natraj cousin of India. As evening progressed guest filled the hall, each chair was occupied it was time for prime show. Kamini khare MC of the day came on the stage and welcome the guest and wished all very happy republic day. She invited all the ceremonial team members and guest of honors on the stage.Pandit ji of Mandir has the honor to bless the flag. He blowed the Shank and read Sanskrit sloks –oh prajapati--be faith full to the flag of our country. Peace, prosperity and justice prevail for every citizen of India.
Indian and USA National anthem by all community members, kids and VIP guests
Guest of honor success full business man CEO of Prince hospitality group Mr. Sunil Tolani and Dr. Krishna Reddy were given the honor to hoist the flag followed by singing of Indian national Anthem lead by Kanta Dhingra. All the ceremonial team was dressed in orange, white and green. Front three girls Monica, Simran and Bhumika explain meaning of national song by their still dance action. Dr Krishna Reddy who has been helping the Indian community for long time performed traditional freedom lamp lighting ceremony.

Extended his best wishes to everyone and was very keen to know the history of India.. At this time Mandir’s volunteers were recognize by Mr.V.N Tiwari. Kamini khare invited Krishan Khandpur to share the stage with her to move the show.
Cultural show started with traditional Ganesh Vandana Bharat Natyam Dance number by students of Savitri Arts Academy followed by Bande Matram dance a Tribute to the country by students of Shakti Sharde Dance school of Vijaya Bhanu. Many other group folk dances were presented by students of Apra Gupta,Hiral Joshi and Fun time Montessori school .Mr. RamJi Bhai Patel and Amarjeet DhamijaExplain in nutshell the importance of Republic day.
Nanha Munna Rahi hu Desh Ka sipahi hu, dance number by 17 children who were all dressed in military uniform, Aoo Bacho tune Dikhai Jhaki Hindustan ki choreograph by Dr. Sinduri ,Bande Matram by Vijaya Bhanu, Rajasthani folk dance by Apra Gupta were high light of the show. All in all every item was display of rich culture of India.
“Last of Day Bhagat Singh” Play directed and written by Kamini Khare:
Near end of the show live play ‘Last day of Bhagat singh” was presented which was written and directed by Kamini khare Munish Nayar played Bhagat singh and Amit Garg played the role of British police. As Police brought Bhagat singh in the chain and hand cuff it becames pin drop silence in the hall and the police hits Bhagat singh and screams ‘ It is not your village where you walk at your leisure, walk fast I have to do my duty” Bhagat singh reply ‘You are Hindustani Firangi police you live like a slave and will die like slave” police--- shut up—to day is your last day but if you want to live you must repeat three times, I Bhagat singh accept the British rule and long live the queen. Bhagat Singh—I will never say these words and always repeat Bande Matram all three times crowd shouted with him Bande Mataram.
Now I must say that people of Orange County are divided in two groups, one group who will read the story of last day of Bhagat Singh’s life in history book and other five hundred people who saw live play ‘Last day of bhagat Singh life” at Republic day celebration of India at Bharat community hall on Jan 26th 2013.
Zoya Khan second runner up Miss India So CA and Lawren Nielsen miss world international were also present at this ceremonious celebration. This event was sponsor by Ratan Baid, Dr Krishna Reddy Avdhesh Agrwal and Sunil Tolani and supported by many other friends and community leaders. Kamini Khare Nila Parekh Atul and Dipal Makhwana and many more were part of organizing committee for the Republic day celebration. It was show of India for the people of India
