Anju Garg elected president of
FIA-SC for year 2009-10

Federation of Indo-American Associations of Southern California,
FIA-SC established in 1979, elects Anju Garg as the new president
for year 2009-10
Board members of FIA-SC met at India Café in Cerritos on
October 08, 2009. Nominations were solicited for election of officers
for the new committee. By majority vote Anju Garg was elected to
the position of President of FIA-SC for the year 2009-10. All other
officers were elected unanimously. Anju Garg has been living in
Southern California for 23 years and has been an active member of
the Indo-American community. She is an Auditor by profession and
co-owner and CFO of Auditing firm Insight Examination Services,
Inc.
On the occasion Anju said that she would work hard to represent
the Indo American community of Sothern California to best of her
ability. She reiterated the need for a unified Indo American community
in Southern California and welcomes all associations to work together
for a strong lobby that can represent all interests.
The FIA-SC team for the year is, Chairman Ajmer Singh, Executive
VP Aparna Hande, Executive VP Rajinder Dhunna, Treasurer Suresh
Patel, Secretary Gunjan Patel, VP Planning Swaran Dabgotra, VP Community
Balwinder Garcha, VP Public Relations Ravinder Verma, VP Fundraising
Sunil Garg, VP Cultural Harjit Bhogal, VP Women’s Affairs
Smita Bagla, and VP Youth Preeti Tilve.
