In a plea directed towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), a revered spiritual leader has urgently appealed for assistance for a Punjabi man currently fighting for his life in the United States following a severe heart attack.
"Whenever our youth encounter crises, whether in Ukraine or anywhere globally, our Prime Minister takes decisive action. It is imperative that the government extends its supportive hand to Ravi Kant Sharma during this critical period," expressed Sant Guru Swami Paul Ji Maharaj in a statement to ANI.
Providing crucial details of the incident, Swami Paul Ji Maharaj highlighted the plight of Ravi Kant Sharma, a journalist from Canada who was on assignment in the United States when tragedy struck. Sharma now finds himself admitted to the Los Angeles Medical Center, his condition critical and necessitating urgent transfer back to Canada due to his insurance coverage being in that country. However, the lack of resources and support has plunged Sharma and his family into a dire situation, explained Swami Paul Ji Maharaj.

"I cannot stress this enough. I refrain from elaborating further. I hold firm belief that PM Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and especially our esteemed Member of Parliament from Doda will take swift and decisive action upon considering this matter," added the spiritual leader, underlining the gravity of the situation.
