NRI Senator Files For Re-Election In Minnesota

NRI State Senator Satveer Chaudhary, 37, is the first
Indian American senator ever elected to state office
in Minnesota, now seeking re-election.
In a press release, "What an honor it is to fight
for working families: to create jobs, cut property taxes,
improve education, transportation and healthcare. It's
a mission I will pursue in 2007 and beyond," said
Chaudhary
Satveer said, "If I elected in November, I would
provide law enforcement officials the tools necessary
to fight problems such as identity theft and cyber crimes.Now
he is currently on nine committees and subcommittees
and he specializes in preserving Minnesota's natural
resources. He gave a boost to job growth and economic
development in Minnesota when he supplemented $3 million
in state funding toward development of the Northwest
Quadrant in New Brighton.
