*Dedication*Determination*Dignity
the motto of a successful NRI Politician,
Jassi Khangura in Punjab, India
Enough is enough! No wasteful spending, false promises and must
resolve the NRI-related issues.
Jassi has planned a tour of North America. He will be arriving
on September 30, 2009 and will make appearance in 8 cities starting
on October1 to 14, 2009.
Jassi stated once that NRIs are a valuable resource for India.
We need to do more to encourage their participation in their motherland,
be it investment in equity or industry, charitable, social &
educational funding or by simply being better ambassador of India.
NRIs have poured billions of dollars investment into India since
its market reform began to deliver Chinese-style growth. Now they
are demanding a greater voice in the government to protect their
involvements and to clean up a corrupt and inefficient bureaucracy.
Jassi Khangura contested elections from Quila Raipur constituency
as a congress candidate and won with flying colors. Since the
independence of India Akali party has been ruling in this region.
This the first time anyone else took the victory. He is a very
intelligent and sharp person. He saved a college by injecting
capital as it was at the verge of closing. The campus has about
4000 students. He paved the roads to connect the villages and
helping the needy by supplying them with 4-5 cows so that they
can earn income by supplying the milk to his dairy.
During his last trip to North America he assured to all the NRIs
that he knows the problems and difficulties NRIs face in India.
He said he will do whatever it takes within his power to help
and solve the issues of any NRI who contacts him. As a matter
of fact he already has helped many individuals.
This time NRIs are eagerly waiting to welcome Jassi Khangura
every where he is going to visit. He is going to motivate the
NRIs to come to India and enter into politics. So that NRIs collectively
will be able to put more weight and amend/improve the laws of
the land and lead the nation towards a more honest, professional
and democratic way.
