Singh produce super store with Grocery/Fashion/Restaurant opens in Corona
Entire plaza may be converted into a mini ‘Little India’ market

Singh Produce Cash & Carry opened its doors for business few months back at 944 w. 6th Street, Corona, CA ( 60 miles east of LA airport) . It is a huge 7200 sq ft store located on 6th Street, the largest NRI Store in Southern California.

To launch Singh produce superstore, this project took two years to build for providing a whole range of products and services under one roof:

  1. A wide range of grocery and fresh produce: Wide Range of Indian Product- Atta, Basmati Rice, MDH Masalas, Indian Spices, Mango Pulp, all Purpose Flour, Packed Spices, and Lentils (Dal)........

  2. Indian ready made garments, jewelry, designer Sarees, Anarkali Suits, Chudidar Pajami Suits, Kurties, Ready-made Srees,Sherwani, Fashion Jewellery, Fashionable Purses, and a Tailoring services.

  3. A vegetarian fast-food restaurant offers delicious Indian dishes in varieties of flavors and choices –serving snacks, appetizers ,Indian sweets such as Gulab jaman, jalebi, Mothichur Ladu and Mixed Sweets. They also serve masala Dosa, Chaat Papdi, Ras Malai, Paani puri and much more.

The Dhaliwals have been in retail business for the past more than 16 years, running gas stations, truck stops and super markets in California and in Washington. They opened the new store in this location with an eye on converting the entire plaza into a mini ‘Little India’ market.

The store is a very convenient to the Asian communities living in Corona, Riverside and some other areas as well. For the convenience of customers, the store will remain open from 9 am to 9 pm.

Singh Produce Cash & Carry open its doors on April 16. At GRAND OPENING & RED RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY, large gathering of NRIs, Pakistanis, Fijians, Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis community, members of the Corona Chambers of Commerce and Corona Pro-Tem Mayor Eugene Montanez were present there. Chamber Ambassador, Nacy Fay introduced the owners Harbhajan Dhaliwal and Pal Dhaliwal. Montanez presented the owners with a Chamber membership plaque.

According to Sarabjit, we have already three NRI-owned businesses in this plaza and we may convert the entire plaza into a mini ‘Little India’ market
