Every year, two students will be awarded $500 scholarships each, graduating from Panorama High School, BC, Canada. North Ridge Elementary School established the Manjit Panghali Memorial Fund in March 2007 and this School was chosen because students from Northridge will go there for high school Panaroma.

Accoding to the local news paper, Manjit’s Family would like to thank Carolyn Convey (Manjit’s job share partner) for her dedication, devotion and hard work in setting up the Manjit Panghali Memorial Fund. We would also like to thank the Surrey Foundation for helping to make this possible. Manjit’s family has been overwhelmed by the love and support we have received from the students, staff, and parent’s of Northridge Elementary. Thank you for everything you have done in Manjit’s honour. Thanks to this scholarship fund, Manjit’s memory will always be honored. Her love of teaching and her love for children will continue to live on.We can’t wait to be there when the lucky and hardworking student’s are awarded with these scholarships.Once again, thank you so much for making this possible. Manjit would be so touched and so proud.
