birth to a healthy baby in hospital in 2005
- The police did not confirm that 2005 baby is among the the dead
infants
- There is no official report that dead babies were related to
Harsimrat Kahlon.

NRI young Sikh woman, 27, Harsimrat Kahlon and three newborn babies
were found dead, Sunday, at a home on Taracove Estates Drive N.E,
Calgary, Alberta.
In a statement for press release on Thursday, the police said
the deaths are considered “suspicious in nature.”
Although autopsies on the newborns have been completed, the cause
of their deaths has yet to be determined.
Calgary police said:
- Their deaths are definitely considered suspicious
- We could say with certainty that they do not believe Kahlon
was killed by someone else.
- We would not reveal the children's ages or genders, or whether
Kahlon is the mother of any of the newborns.
- We would not disclose when the children were born, if they were
triplets or born separately
- We can probably reassure people that we're not concerned about
a serial murderer involve.
According to the local NRI media,
- Harsimrat was known as Simmi and had a boy friend named Harnek
Mahal, were friends for the past eight years and suppose to be
married in India at the end of this year
- Harsimrat and Harnek love each other and they were seen happy
all the time
- No body know, she was pregnant, but people had heard that she
was.
The homeowner, where Harsimrat was living in the basement of a
rental home, said:
- She was living in the basement with a man and have no knowledge
that she was pregnant.
- They were very quiet people and don't know what happened
It was a unconfirmed report:
- Harsimrat's boyfriend, a truck driver had been in Red Deer on
Sunday.
- He tried to call his girlfriend several times throughout the
day, but there was no answer.
- He did not carry keys with him and broke into the home through
the back door.
- He found his girlfriend's dead body
Harsimrat moved to Winnipeg from India when she was
about 10 years old. Her parents stayed in India. She was raised
by an aunt and uncle.She was working as a receptionist in a northeast
law office
It is also learned that Harsimrat's family did not
approve of her relationship. They weren't in contact with her about
four years
