NRI (non-resident-community) got to geather on may 12th at Matiya Patidar Center in city of Norwalk to mark four special days under the leadership of Prof.keshav Patel. Special attraction was Live speech of chief minister of Gujarat honorable

Narendra Modi. Show started with melodious singing of Mr Arvind Joshi..Stage was well decorated by kamini Khare, Aparna Hande and Manorama Sharma on patriotic theme. As evening progressed people started coming. May 12th is celebrated as a Mother's day in USA so this special day was felicitated By long time community supporter Mr. Uka Bhai Solanki. A red rose was presented to all the mothers.

Once Tech person got the signal from India then all the people who have been socializing out side came in the hall.
A brief video presentation was made about growth of State of Gujarat since BJP has come in power and Mr Narendra Modi become the chief minister of Gujarat. At 6 pm (pst), chief minister appeared on screen and greeted all the audience in Hindi language.

Narendra Modi's speech lasted for more than an hour and was followed by a questions and answers session. In his address, Modi said:

• I feel biggest crisis (today) is lack of confidence. We need to get this trust back. This cannot be merely done by words: Biggest need today is trust.
• The people of India have lost "trust and confidence" in the center (UPA government), due to "poor governance" and high corruption.
• It is unbelievable that the India's foreign minister is seen reading the speech of his counterpart from another country.
• We have adopted mantra of 'sabka saath, sabka vikas'. We do not want development of only select sections of society.
• We have taken development to new heights, taken it for wellbeing of every person
• I am saying it again, Narendra Modi has not done it. The credit goes to six crore Gujaratis and those who love Gujarat.
• There is a great contribution of the overseas Gujarati community in building a statue of unity of Sardar Patel, which he said would be double the height of the Statue of Liberty in New York.

He repeated all the success story of Gujarat in all the sector.Education and economic development has been his agenda from the day one of his administration to make vibrant Gujarat. People of Gujarat has worked with him side by side to bring this change for all of us.

He has created the infrastructure for the corporate world to thrive in Guajrat. When business grows people finds the job that helps their economy. Small business sector is booming in tribal Gujarat. Highest numbers of women are employed or managing their own small scale industry. He express his dream that as a son of Bharat Mata he would like to do the same for Bharat.

His speech was full of inspiration and hope for the country. He reminded us that Gujarat has been a model for others to learn some thing for economic progress.Even the Government of USA is looking us with open mind and appreciating our growth.

Time to time he repeated that all the glory of state of Gujarat goes to people of Gujarat. He invited NRI to invest in Gujarat for mutual prosperity.

Many times he brought the corruption issue in his speech without mentioning any name but obvious onus was on prime minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh.He was quite direct mentioning corrupt ministers of his cabinet.

Journey from Gujarat to New Delhi by train is twenty four hours, by plane is two hours but political journey from Gujarat to New Delhi is long hard but how and what the chief and his party will do to reach at the destination to bring the changes for people of India was not mention in his speech. Over all his speech left good impression in every one's mind .

Prof. Keshav Patel gave vote of thanks to every one and appreciated all the volunteers for their dedication to make this special day for Bharat, and Gujarat.
