NRI Sikhs enthusiastically supporting corridor to Kartar Pur Sahib [Pakistan] from Dera Baba Nanak India

About 70,000 Sikh participated in 300 year Gurta Gadi celebrations at Yuba City California .Participants enthusiastically supported ‘’ 20 Million Signature Campaign for Kartar Pur Sahib Marg.’’SARBJIT MANN during his press briefing mentioned that representatives of various Sikh organizations promised to highlight corridor issues and create momentum to achieve free and unobstructed access to this Holly shrine which is only 2-3 Km from Indo-Pak border.Guru Nanak Dev Ji left for his heavenly abode at this place . During his 18 years of stay at Kartar Pur Sahib, Guru Nanak Dev ji passed on Guru ship to Shri Guru Angad Dev ji.

Mr. Mann further mentioned that Sikhs living in European and Asian countries are being contacted to take message of ‘’ 20 Million signature campaign for Kartar Pur Sahib to every household and contact by email or fax Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and foreign Minister Shri Parnab Mukherjee for lobbying India Govt.
We are planning to raise this issue during upcoming parliament elections if India Government failed to accept our demand .During his visit to Dera Baba Nanak last June, Parnab Mukherjee promised of speedy resolution, but so far he has not acted as promised.
