4th S. S. Bajwa Memorial Golf Tournament

This event was organized by the genius & Visionary young man Bobby Kang and his brothers Baldev and Sammy Kang trio “Kang brothers” of Cargo Solutions Express Inc. This foundation was created in 2006 and since then each and every year they organized this tournament for charity in the sweet memory of their beloved late uncle Sardar Suriunder Singh Bajwa. Who himself was a great sportsman. Mr. Bajwa was a cricketer and played on a state level in India.

It was held at a beautiful five star Pacific Palms Hotel & Resort, City of Industry, California. The registration started at 10 AM. Hot tea, soft drinks and delicious snacks were served 12:30 and 1 PM. During that time Raffle ticket were being sold.
The event began with a shot gun at 1:30 PM and the carts started rolling to the golf course with 130 players’ full of enthusiasm and excitement. It went on till late in the evening about 6:30 PM.

The chief guest were Yuvraj Bhupiner Singh (son-in-law of Bibi Jagir Kaur), Richie Richardson, Captain of West Indies Cricket team, West Indies and K.K. Bawa (Ex Chairman Housing Board Punjab)

In the evening they had arranged a beautiful hall in the same hotel for dinner. On the left side of the hall a full bar was set with all kind of hard and soft drinks. Guests were enjoying drinks and delicious Indian snacks. At t he far end there was a raised stage along with a podium was set. They hired a DJ who was playing nice Punjabi as well as Bollywood movie songs. The atmosphere was very alive and cheerful with over 300 guests from India, West Indies, Canada and of course from all over USA.

At 8 PM Bobby Kang reached to the podium and welcomed and thanked the entire guest. He introduced the local Golf Committee member and also recognized the Guest from overseas. Thereafter he started announcing the winning tickets and distributing Raffle Prizes.

16. After the raffle draw Bobby announced the Golf tournament results and invited the winners to receive their awards one by one. Here is the complete list of winners as under:-
