NAI expands real estate
operations in India
The commercial real estate service firm NAI has announced
it launch its operations in six cities in India. We
have been closely monitoring developments of Indian
market. We believe the time is ripe to enter one of
the most dynamic and upcoming markets for real estates
in Asia, Jeffery Finn, president of NAI, said.
He also said that India demands a total of 200 million
square feet office.
Though a major portion would be fulfilled by
the spaces currently vacant, an average of 10-20 million
square feet of new space would be required annually
over the next decade or so, the company representatives
said.
NAI is a global corporate real estate and investment
services firm in more than 300 markets in 40 countries,
including Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Founded 25 years ago in the US, the company recorded
its business of over 27 billion dollars last year.
