NRI Kulvinder Ram, has been charged with attempted murder after a woman and two children were found stabbed on Friday evening in east London’s Dagenham area. Metropolitan Police received reports of the attack around 5:35 p.m. and discovered the victims — a woman in her 30s, along with an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy — suffering from stab wounds on First Avenue.

Emergency responders, including the London Ambulance Service and an Air Ambulance, arrived swiftly and transported the victims to a hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. Police have confirmed that their injuries are not life-threatening. Ram, aged in his 40s, was detained at the scene, later requiring medical attention before being returned to police custody.

Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford confirmed that authorities believe the individuals involved were known to each other, and no other suspects are being sought. He assured the community of increased police presence in the area for the time being, and requested that anyone with information reach out to the police or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
