US Road Accident Claims Lives of Hyderabad Couple and Their Children

In a heartbreaking incident, four members of an Indian-origin family from Hyderabad lost their lives in a road accident in the United States. The family, who were on a vacation in the US, met with a fatal crash in Dallas while returning from a visit to relatives in Atlanta.

The victims have been identified as Tejaswini and Sree Venkat, along with their two children. Reports indicate that the vehicle they were traveling in collided with another, resulting in a devastating fire that claimed all four lives. Authorities are working on repatriating their remains to India for final rites.

This tragic news follows another similar incident that occurred in May, where two Indian students lost their lives in a road accident in New York. The victims were Manav Patel and 23-year-old Saurav Prabhakar, both enrolled at Cleveland State University.

In response to the student deaths, the Indian Consulate in New York expressed condolences in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate road accident in which two Indian students from Cleveland State University, Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar, lost their lives.”

The Consulate further added that it is in contact with the victims’ families and is providing all necessary support during this difficult time.
