Dr Amrit Singh Sekhon, along with some Sikh Community  members attended a fundraising for the US presidential candidate California Senator Kamala Harris on June 29, 2019 at the Bradbury house of Dr Asif Mehmood.

 Jagjit Singh Reen, board member of Walnut gurdwara brought a plaque and Surinderjit Singh brought a picture of Sri Harmandir Sahib for presentation to her which she accepted with great respect and compassion.

 In the fund raising event, Dr Amrit Singh, Mrs Harjasbinder Kaur and son Zorawar Singh family were present. Other Sikh Community members were:

 ·      Dr Piara Singh, Dr and Mrs Arinder Singh Chadha,  Baljinder Singh, Mani Singh Kang democratic Party Delegate, Jaswinder Singh Sondh and Mrs. Lucky Sondh, Haripal Singh and absent contributor Baldev Singh Dhiman.

·      “These people in spite of their busy schedule spared time for the betterment of the Sikh community and donated their hard earned money. We are also planning to hold another fundraising on behalf of the Sikh community In near future, said Dr. Sekhon
