Raminder Gill, Conservative,
Member of Parliament from Bramalea-Gore-Malton
From 1999 to 2003, Member of Provincial Parliament for Bramalea-Gore-Malton-Springdale
Raminder Gill has dutifully served our community before. From 1999
to 2003, he was the Member of Provincial Parliament for Bramalea-Gore-Malton-Springdale.
While at Queens Park, Raminder fulfilled duties as the Parliamentary
Assistant to the Minister of Labour, the Minister of Training Colleges
and Universities and finally to the Premier.
Earning both a Masters of Engineering and a Bachelors of Chemical
Engineering from the University of Toronto, Raminder has over 15 years
experience as a chemical engineer with several local firms before
starting his own business. He is a small business owner and invented
and developed of a range of environmentally-friendly products including
President's Choice "The Alternative Bleach."
Raminder has been a resident of Peel for over 30 years. His community
involvement is extensive. Raminder is a founder of the Malton Cougars
Soccer Club, a charter member of the Mississauga Lions Club of Erin
Mills and has been a fundraiser for a variety of worthy causes including
CreditValley Hospital, The United Way, The Hospital for Sick Children
and Toronto Eye Foundation.
Raminder is married to Dr. Pam Gill , a family physician associated
with the Credit Valley Hospital and is the proud father of two daughters

Sulakhan Singh Hundal, affectionately known as Sam
is married with four children and six grandchildren and has lived
in Brampton for over 30 years where he works as a Real Estate agent

Parvinder Sandhu, Conservative from
Mississauga Brampton South
Parvinder Sandhu is a family man who grew up in
the riding
Parvinder has lived in the riding of Mississauga
Brampton South for the last 13 years. Mississauga Brampton South
is not just his riding, it is his home. He went to school here,
participated in sports events, got involved in community and social
events grew up in the riding and now lives in the riding with
his wife and two children.
Parvinder Sandhu is not only a successful businessman

Raised and educated in Canada, Parvinder did his
schooling from J.A. Turner Secondary School, Brampton, Canada.
After graduating from high school he went to University of Toronto
for Mechanical Engineering in the year 1990. Since 1993 Parvinder
has been running various successful businesses in Canada and overseas.
It is worth mentioning that Parvinder has established Canadian
Institute of International Studies (CIIS) in partnership with
Georgian College, Barrie, Ontario and Laurentian University,Sudbury,
Ontario.
Parvinder Sandhu's Political Experience
Parvinder is a member of the Federal and Provincial
Conservative Party. He has been working extensively towards the
unification of the Federal Progressive Conservatives and the Canadian
Alliance. He has been a very aggressive volunteer in many election
campaigns at the Municipal, Provincial and Federal level.

Dr. Sanjeev Goel, Green
Party from 35008 Brampton West
Dr. Sanjeev Goel is a family physician practicing in Brampton at "A
Healing Place".
Sanjeev joined the Green Party last year during the massive worldwide
protests against the illegal invasion of Iraq. His focus issues in this
election are electoral reform, leadership based on principles and integrity
and ensuring a clean environment for our children. He is currently the
foreign affairs critic for the Green Party of Canada.
He is a founder of the non profit group promoting nonviolent community
action on social issues called TruthForce and has joined the "Free
Thinking Collective", a community library and social activism space.
"Many people are seriously disillusioned with politics. Many are
not voting at all. Like many others, I felt hopeless and apathetic about
our future. Then, I found out about the Greens and their 10 key values.
Politics with integrity, compassion and empowerment. These days, I feel
invigorated and energized and truly believe that a better world is possible."
Sanjeev was born in Montreal and graduated from Medical School at the
University of Toronto in 1995. He lives in downtown Brampton with his
wife, Lopita and child, Omiya.
Manjinder Rai, NDP, from
Mississauga--Streetsville
Manjinder Rai was born in November 1969 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India,
and earned his B.A. from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. Manjinder
has lived in Mississauga for the last decade, and is raising his young
family here.
As a community activist, Manjinder is well-known for his work organizing
sports and cultural events in Greater Toronto's booming South Asian
community. He's worked as a volunteer with Revenue Canada, helping
low-income Canadians file their returns. For the last four years,
he's been an active member of the United Steelworkers of America.
Manjinder speaks out and is actively involved in community social
causes like working parents' issues, children's issues, health care
issues and advancing Canada's policy interests around the globe.
Manjinder is married to Jasvir Rai, with three children - Rajpal,
and twins Anoop and Gurdas.
Neeraj Jain, Green
Party, from 35050 Mississauga South
Neeraj Jain is the Green Party of Canada candidate for Mississauga
South. He was born in India and grew up in Montreal.
Neeraj runs a small business in Oakville, Ontario, which was recognized
as one of Canada's 100 fastest-growing companies two years in a
row. He has also worked as a Strategic Buyer and Operations Manager.
Neeraj holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto, and
studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Ottawa, Ottawa.
He also founded the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs chapter
at the University of Toronto.
Neeraj is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, has
travelled extensively and speaks both official languages as well
as Hindi. He lives in the Port Credit area with his wife, Jyoti.
Saroj Bains
24 yrs old. Young Woman from Toronto. Running in Windsor St. Clair.

Saroj got involved in politics at the age of 15 when
she joined the work to develop new journalism. She worked on Youth
Today, a magazine for youth and students which presented the reality
facing Canadian youth. She also worked on a magazine which profi
led the reality facing Canadas aboriginal youth called Aboriginal
Youth Today. She is a member of the Standing Conference of South
Asians. As a minority young woman Saroj has fought to defend the
rights of national minority youth in Canada in the context of defending
the rights of all in society. This is her first provincial election.
She has run as a candidate in the Federal Elections as a candidate
for the Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada. She works in the Film
and Communications Industry as a Producer.
