NRIAnju Dhillon has been re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle in the 2025 Canadian federal election. Running as the Liberal candidate, Dhillon secured 59.3% of the vote, marking her fourth consecutive victory since first being elected in 2015

Dhillon made history in 2015 as the first person of South Asian descent elected from Quebec to the House of Commons. A lawyer by profession, she was also the first Canadian Sikh to practice law in Quebec. Throughout her parliamentary career, Dhillon has served on several key committees, including Justice and Human Rights, Canadian Heritage, and International Trade. She also served as Parliamentary Secretary for the Status of Women from 2015 to 2017.​
 
Her re-election underscores continued support from constituents in Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle, reaffirming her role as a prominent voice for both the local community and the broader South Asian diaspora in Canadian politics.
