                Ramesh Arora Bio :-  
                Sardar Ramesh  Singh Arora, born on October 11, 1974, in Nankana Sahib, is the son of Mr. R.L.  Arora. A proud graduate of the University of the Punjab, Lahore, he is a  distinguished Entrepreneur and a prominent Sikh Leader hailing from Kartarpur,  Narowal. Serving as a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, he  secured re-election for the second consecutive term in 2020, representing one  of the seats reserved for non-Muslims, which became vacant due to the passing  of a Member. 
                In his initial  tenure from 2013 to 2018, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora made history as the first  Parliamentarian in the Punjab Assembly from the Sikh Community since the  independence of Pakistan in 1947. His impactful contributions include serving  as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Commerce & Investment from  2014 to 2017 and later as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Human  Rights & Minorities Affairs in 2017-18. 
                A distinguished  Human Rights Activist and Social Worker, Arora played a pivotal role in  safeguarding the rights of the Sikh Community in Pakistan. His efforts led to  the passage of "The Punjab Sikh Anand Karaj Marriage Act 2018,"  making Pakistan the first country to enforce Sikh Marriages Registration Act.  Arora's extensive involvement includes positions as a Member of the Evacuee  Trust Property Board (ETPB) Govt. of Punjab, Member of the National Commission  for Minorities (2011-13), and General Secretary of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara  Parbhandak Committee (2009-13). 
Arora represented Pakistan in the "Citizen  Equal Rights Forums" during a three-week exchange visit to the USA in July  2011, sponsored by the United States State Department. His dedication and  impactful contributions were recognized with the National Human Rights Award in  2016, presented by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Arora's  commitment to continuous growth is evident in his recent participation in a  leadership course at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
