NRI Dr. Ketan Ashvin Patel, 37, of Lynn Haven, Florida
was arrested on charges of defrauding fellow physicians, accused
of a $100,000 land scam.
State Attorney investigators say Patel took money
for large land transactions in Washington County, and then diverted
the money for his personal use.
Dr. Patel is in the Bay County Jail tonight and
will appear in court Wednesday afternoon for a bond hearing.
The alleged victims of the doctor said they haven't
recovered any of their money, WJHG TV reported.
