NRI Sanjay Wadhwa Appointed Deputy Director of Enforcement Division of Securities/Exchange Commission

NRI attorney, Sanjay Wadhwa have been named deputy director of the Division of Enforcement of (SEC), the Securities and Exchange Commission of USA, on date Aug. 18, 2021.

 Before this promotion, he served as the senior associate director of the Division of Enforcement in the New York Regional Office, where he managed more than 150 personnel in enforcing federal securities laws.

Gurbir Grewal, the SEC's Director of Enforcement said:

• Sanjay brings a tenacious approach to our work, and he is passionate about protecting American investors
• I am eager to work closely with him in his new role.
