Raj Shah, 34, a former researcher at the Republican National Committee and White House deputy spokesman and administration since president Trump took office in January 2017, has left President Donald Trump's administration and joined an arm of a Florida-based lobbying firm

Rajiv "Raj" Shah, is the President of the Rockefeller Foundation. He is a former American government official, physician and health economist who served as the 16th Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) from 2010-2015.

“I’m excited to join Brian, Jamie and the top-notch team to launch Ballard Media Group,” said Shah. Raj Shah and Jamie Rubin, former assistant secretary of state for public affairs in former President Bill Clinton’s administration, are together leading Ballard Media Group. It's a division of the government relations firm Ballard Partners, founded by longtime Florida lobbyist Brian Ballard.

Raj Shah briefed the press in the absence of White House press secretary Sarah Sanders and helped to oversee strategy and communications for the successful confirmation last year of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Last week, when White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was away on a vacation, White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah, conducts his first White House briefing.

Before of his briefing, Sarah Huckabee Sanders Sanders  wrote on her Twitter account and  said, “Shah is one of the best and the brightest in the Trump administration.” Sarah Elizabeth Huckabee Sanders is a political advisor who was appointed White House press secretary to President Donald Trump in July 2017

For the past few weeks, Raj Shah is becoming popular and can be seen regularly in the white house’s best-known officials. This is the reason he is regularly appeared on TV. “Raj Shah is a talented operative and skilled communicator. Shah was behind all the anti-Clinton campaign during the presidential elections.

Raj Shah’s response about immigration reforms:

“The President wants to see legal immigration reforms and he wants to see us move from a process currently existing in law, of extended family chain migration toward merit-based legal immigration reform,” Shah told local media.” We want to ensure that people coming in the country are the best and the brightest regardless of nationality, creed, religion or anything else in-between.”

Raj Shah further added: “The President wants reforms that improve America’s economy and he wants to look at educational backgrounds, ability to contribute to the workforce in a way that helps American workers.”

• In 2016, he led a team of experts to carry out research and anti-Clinton campaign against Hillary Clinton in the presidential candidate.
• He worked with campaign staff and manager of the Mitt Romney campaign and others to plan how, particularly, to try to defeat Hillary Clinton well before she announced she was running in 2016
• In 2012, Shah was deputy research director at the Republican National Committee and he said in that job "he learned what not to do in the 2016 election".
• In 2010, Shah worked as campaign spokesman for New Mexico candidate for governor Susana Martinez.
• When he was in high school, Raj Shah volunteered for Representative Chris Shays and interned for Senator Joe Lieberman.
• Shah worked with Hemming to create an ad for the Jeb Bush campaign.

In October 7, 2016, after the Washington Post published the Access Hollywood tape, in which listeners can hear Donald Trump discuss harassing women, Shah sent a message to Andrew Hemming, a senior RNC officer. He said:“I’m kinda enjoying this, some justice. I honestly don’t think it’s the worst thing he’s done but he somehow got passes for the other acts,” according to New York. He added, “Trump is a deplorable.”

• Raj Shah was one of the well known early staffers on duty in the White House on Inauguration Day. He helped reporters' inquiries and also in the development of communications area..
• Shah was also a co-founder of America Rising, "a right-leaning political action committee that produces opposition research on Democratic candidates".

In 1970, his parents moved to the United States. They lived in Chicago and then later moved to Connecticut, where Shah was born and raised. His father was an engineer and his mother worked as dentist.

Raj Shah graduated from High School Brien McMahon as an Ettinger Scholar in Connecticut. In 2006, he got his BS degree from Cornell University as major in government study.
