A new report by Policy Exchange has highlighted NRIs as one of the most successful ethnic and religious communities in contemporary Britain. As the largest Asian ethnic group in the UK, NRIs are outperforming other groups, including Caucasians, when analyzed through various metrics such as professional employment, hourly wages, home ownership, and rates of employment or self-employment.

Titled ‘A Portrait of Modern Britain,’ the report reveals that NRIs are among the least likely to reside in social housing, with 71% owning their homes. The study also shows that the community is the most socially integrated, with more friendships outside their ethnic group compared to other minorities.|

NRIs, in education rank second only to the Chinese in academic achievement.

The report also introduced a new term, MINTs (Minorities in Towns), to describe minorities moving from cities to smaller towns and villages where they are well-integrated with their white neighbors.

Additionally, while Caucasian British graduates tend to lean politically left, the report notes that Indian Hindus, who are highly educated, are increasingly leaning to the political right.

Overall, the report found that all ethnic minority groups express pride in being British and prefer living in the UK over other countries such as the US, Germany, or France.
