Indian student Koppu Sharat from Telangana killed in  shooting at Kansas City 
            TELANGANA STUDENT KOPPU SHARAT WAS KILLED IN MISSORI RESTAURANT, ACCUSED WAS CAUGHT ON CCTV 
            Kansas City, July 17, 2018 
            Sharat Koppu, 26,  a student at the University of Missouri,  was fatally shot on July 6,  at J’s Fish and Chicken  Market where he was working. He was living at 5303 Charlotte Street Apartment. The police announced $10,000-reward for information  leading to the capture of the suspect in the Sharat Koppu's killing.            
             
                          In  connection with the murder of Sharat Koppu as a student inside a restaurant,  Police released a video footage of the suspect caught on CCTV. Later on, Kansas Police have  identified a suspect as Marlin Mack -a black male wearing a brown shirt with  white stripes, who can be seen walking in and out of J’s Fish and Chicken  Market.  
                          After the  shooting, the Consulate send a message by tweeting, "Deepest condolences  to the family of Sharat Koppu and promised to help the family.” 
                          Kansas City’s three police officers  were injured in two separate shootings involving Mack and he was killed in a  third one. Mack had a criminal history and was released from prison in 2017.  Two police officers were shot when they follow the suspect in the motel area.      
                          The  local newspaper reported: Mack shot another  officer when police tracked him down to a house in the area and around 50-gun  shots were fired each other.

                          Sharat Koppu's cousin  Raghu Chowdavaram and his family members thanked the police officers who risked  their lives in pursuing this case to capture the suspect.
