I guess someone else needed her spirit more though.

I can't believe she is gone, I'm still in shock, I keep thinking
about the first day she moved into my neighborhood when we were
in fourth or fifth grade... she was so quiet then, but she was
the best friend anyone could ever have. I miss her so much, she
keep telling me to come visit her, and i never got the chance...it's
so weird, that she is really gone...I miss you Sim...

- I feel so bad when heard the news. i express my condolences
to the family members of Gill. May her soul rest in a perfect
peace. Persons having a Realistic personality type "dominate"
this environment. There are more of them than there are people
of other personality types. I am not a lawyer or psychologist
but we must consider when modern
views collide with ancient tradition.
As per her parents and brother's statement- Amandeep
Brar and Simrit Gill did not had a trouble marriage. Today
when I read "Feb. 10, 2008:
Simrit Gill's e-mails
to her best friends:" Simrit
Gill's friends described totally different story and this
story really shocked me. I read Simrit Gill's
friends statement three times... there are lot of questions comes
to my mind. Let we wait Amandeep Brar's statement..................
Ashok Shah, Hong Kong
- Every body have different views. Let we listen both side of
the story. Who knows what happened, argument, fight and physical
attack each other. This will come out when Amandeep tells his
story in the court. Up to now both side parents did not know any
thing untill happened. According to the girl's parents, they just
moved out from their house. Had Amandeep and Simrit ever argument
or fight in Simrit's parents home? if not how come in short of
time it happened. Time will tell. From here, it is great lesson
to other parents- tell your kids if you don't like each other,
like to divorce, do it and not stay together with arguments....
then it may be too late ............Ranjit Singh, New Delhi
- Dear sir, after reading this story and below
Anju's opinion, I am squared to go to India to marry there because
with the recommendation of my parents, I already have selected
one. His father is also a senior police officer. Now it looks
me that this guy is just like to come here. On this week end,
I may sit with my parents and tell them I don't want to travel
same boat as poor Simrit Gill. When I see Amandeep Brar' s photo
it square me. Now NRI girls must take a bold step to tell their
parents that don't force us to marry............. Sukhi, Vancouver
- Amandeep Brar's Bond hearing is Monday,
February 18 in Mecklenburg County Courts- Please help us
Please help us get national attention to this as Sim’s
killer, Amandeep Brar must not get bail (he is a flight risk).
His Bond hearing is on Monday, February 18 in Mecklenburg County
Courts. We can not bring back Simrit but we can see Justice is
served. If you can help get this message out there please help,
JP
- Simrit Gill, WE CANNOT GET YOU BACK. We pray for you
and whole world is with you. Being a mother, I know how
difficult is to bear this loss for your parents.
I request all NRIs parents, if your kids are
born here, forget to marry your kids to go to India and marry
there. Understand it:
- Gape of culture. People in India says, they have great culture----Look
this result of their culture
- Secondly, we always say, oh they belong to great khandan,
his father was officer and they have lot of money by taking
bribery..... if they have money, do they transfer here to
help their son or daughter. No. Why we believe this non-sense.
We have to pay all for there richness or khandan. Who care..
I don't
- Third, If you are smart, ONLY look their qualification,
NOT THEIR PARENTS AND THEIR KOTHI OR LAND. Still if you like
to marry your daughter in India- just look his qualification.
- Look Amandeep Brar. I don't blame him. He was brought up
with the way the officers in India they do with easy money......................................................Anju

Yes it same and he just came to usa in august last
year and within 6 -7 months he done this to his wife and
this way we would like to bring awareness in community so that
these kind of things are not happened in community. its lesson
for all parents to be aware when dealing with overseas marriages
for their kids. this looks like the marriage either he done
to come to usa or might related with dowry. so with this one
we would like to bring awareness campaign for this kind of incidents
don't happened in future. Today their is funeral for that girl
in northcaroline where hundreds of people came out on funeral
services from all communities to attend this event and support
for family. All students are worried and willing to support
the family and committed to get highest level of punishment
in this case so culprit like this one can't repeat this kind
of incident. in this way some one can't loose their friend sister.
if u need anything else just let me know................Jg..Ontario,
