NRI Satwant Sodhi, 56 yrs old,
was killed as she stood in the path of a train at
the spot where her daughter killed herself and her
two children, it emerged last night.
Less than six months after the first tragedy, Satwant
Sodhi returned to Southall station in west London.
She was a grieving grandmother who was hit by a terrible
depression after she lost her daughter and two young
grandchildren in one day.
last August, the first tragedy happened at Southall
station, west London, Navjeet Sidhu, 27, threw herself
into the path of the Heathrow Express while holding
her toddler son and five-year-old daughter.
Then on Tuesday her mother followed suit in the same
spot. Satwant Kaur Sodhi, 56, stood in the path of
the 10.30 First Great Western train from Bristol to
Paddington. The incident was reported shortly after
midday.
She reportedly stood on the tracks at Southall Station
as a train raced toward her at 95mph.
