Jayshree Ullal was born in London, and raised in New Delhi. After schooling in India:

Jayshree started to work as engineering and strategy positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Fairchild Semiconductor.

• She oversaw some 20 mergers and acquisitions for Cisco in the enterprise sector.

In 2014, he was ranked the richest NRI in the World Billionaires list in Forbes Richie Rich.Sethi ranked 21st on the magazine's list of America's 60 self-made richest women, down from rank 14 in 2015.
