Young Tech Genius Meedhansh was honored at the Global Child Prodigy Awards (GCPA) 2025

A proud moment for India unfolded recently in London, as Meedhansh Kumar Gupta, a young technology prodigy from Punjab, was honoured at the British Parliament. The recognition came during the 2025 Global Child Prodigy Awards, held at the prestigious House of Commons.

The event celebrated 100 exceptional young talents from across the world. Selected from thousands of nominees spanning over 130 countries, Meedhansh was the only child from Punjab to receive this global honour. His inclusion in the “Top 100 Child Prodigies 2025” book, unveiled during the ceremony, marks a remarkable achievement.

Meedhansh’s journey began at the age of nine during the COVID-19 lockdown, when he started exploring the world of technology. What began as curiosity quickly turned into brilliance. He became the youngest website developer to be recognized nationally and internationally, earning a place in record books.

His passion for learning and sharing knowledge led him to train thousands of fellow students through an initiative called Mission Aatmanirbhar. Demonstrating extraordinary discipline, he completed 50 certified tech courses in a single week—setting a world record.

Among his most notable innovations is a telemedicine platform developed during the pandemic and, more recently, the creation of a blockchain-based electronic voting machine after studying blockchain through IIT Madras.
In 2022, Meedhansh was awarded the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, India's highest civilian honour for children, which was presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.
The Global Child Prodigy Awards not only recognize young achievers but also connect them to global mentors, resources, and platforms to help them grow further in their fields. Meedhansh’s recognition highlights the immense potential of India’s youth and the global impact they are already beginning to make.
