NRI Dr. Hamid Razak, founder of the Indian Muslim Professionals (IM. PROF) network, an orthopaedic surgeon and recipient of the 2018 Singapore Youth Award, has been introduced as one of the eight new candidates by the People's Action Party (PAP) for the upcoming General Election 2025. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong unveiled these candidates in a recent video, highlighting the party's commitment to rejuvenation and diversity.
His inclusion in the PAP's slate reflects the party's focus on bringing in individuals with strong community ties and professional expertise. The PAP plans to field over 30 new candidates in GE2025, marking one of its most significant renewals in recent history.
