 "Syed  Mazahir Ali, an Indian student enrolled in a Masters in Information Technology  program, fell victim to a violent attack in Chicago. The alarming incident has  sparked heightened apprehension regarding the safety and security of Indian  students studying in America."                   He originally  hailing from Hyderabad, Ali has now become the latest Indian student to endure  a brutal assault on American soil. His unfortunate experience adds to a series  of concerning incidents, raising urgent questions about the overall safety and  well-being of Indian students pursuing their education in the United  States."
 Ali fell  prey to a harrowing attack by four armed robbers near his residence in Chicago.  The assailants pursued him relentlessly, inflicting severe injuries, and  callously robbed him of his mobile phone, leaving him in a state of distress.  The entire incident was captured on video, showing Ali bleeding and recounting  the traumatizing experience. While the current status of his condition remains  undisclosed, the visuals vividly depict multiple cuts and bruises, highlighting  the brutality of the assault.
 
 In the incident,  Ali's family has issued a heartfelt appeal to the Indian government for  assistance. Ali's wife, presently in India, has reached out to External Affairs  Minister S. Jaishankar, urgently seeking support to travel to the United  States. The shocking attack has heightened anxiety within Ali's family and the  broader Indian expatriate community, prompting serious questions about the  adequacy of security measures in place for Indian students studying in the US.
