A Success Story of Manpreet's ‘Jago Punjab movement'

You lend me this one year out of your life and we all together collectively will change the destiny of the Punjab. Former Finance Minister of Punjab S. Manpreet Singh Badal while addressing the main workers associated with Jago Punjab movement drawn from various constituencies of Punjab thanked all his associated who have reached here today and also thanked every Punjabi who reached the Jago Punjab Conference at the Maghi Mela is Sri Muktsar Sahib.

He said that the first phase of the Jago Punjab movement has got tremendous support from all the sections of the society of the Punjab cutting across the party likes and has thus been a success. The next phase of the Jago Punjab will commence on 23rd January, 2011 from the holly city of Sri Anandpur Sahib in Distt. Ropar and culminate at the land of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh at Khatkarr Kalan in Distt. Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. While addressing the gathering Mr. Badal said that we have won the first phase of the match for which now is the time to work hard and diligently for achieving the next success. Every Punjabi should get out of his or her house to join the Jago Punjab Movement Citing the example of the martyr’s of the Indian freedom struggle he said that way there valiant sons of the soil gave up everything including there lives to free the country from the British rule similarly every Punjabi has to step out of their houses from this movement to pull Punjab out of the Financial mess.

Mr. Badal said that he is pained because many sympathizers / well-wishers of the Punjab had to work 8 to 10 kilometers to reach the venue of Jago Punjab Conference of Sri Mukatsar Sahib because of the obstructions and obstacles created by the official/ administrative machinery of the Punjab Govt. He said that the success of the Jago Punjab Conference is due to the sincerity of every Punjabi towards the Punjab and not because of Manpreet, who have now decided to wake up from the slumbee to change the system of the state. The well attended meeting was an interactive session where in everyone present put forth his/ her ideas and suggesting and elicited response from one and all the meeting was also attended and addressed by S. Manjinder Singh Kang MLA Beas, S. Jagbir Singh Brar MLA Jallandhar, S. Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon, Sh. Abhey Sandhu real nephew of Shaheed S. Bhagat Singh, Sh.
