Is Judicial system or NRI cell working in Punjab?

To the editor, NRIinternet.com

In 1978, we had purchased a piece of land measuring 1 kanal 16 marlas. I ran the poultry farm until February 13, 1983 on which date I moved to USA. The guy I bought the land from was just like my elder brother.

After we moved to USA, my nephew dug out the foundations and sold everything. Until few years before, the guy named Kuldip Singh Kaleka, from whom I had purchased the land was friendly but when we got serious to build the house there, he changed his tone and questioned the sale that he did not sell it to my wife (in whose name the property is. In SDM's court, he denied having signed the papers, and that he did not get the money and that we never had a possession of property. I mean he talked all non-sense which he could. Just last month, we moved the case from SDM's court to civil court.

I wrote to the IG police (NRI branch) in Aug.2005, but no response. My wife wrote to the PM & CM in October, 2005, ! but there is no response. We hear that central and state governments are doing this and doing that for the NRIs. but I dont see much action but wide publicity. Just for your information, the land is in Naya Gaon close to Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Mr. Kuldip Singh Kaleka, I feel, is exercising the influence of his DIG or IG rank son who is in police in Punjab Or Chandigarh area. We are waiting for the justice to prevail and God to control the senseless greed of those who believe in looting others and crushing their right to live honestly and peacefully. If, for any reason, you need more information, it would be my pleasure to equip you with all the data. Thank you so much.
