Indians, 587,000 Pakistanis, 209,000 Bangladeshis and 157,000
Chinese living in Great Britain.

gave birth yesterday to a baby girl. The child’s twin
sister was stillborn. Romanian doctors at the Giulesti Maternity
Hospital in Bucharest said Adriana Iliescu, who was artificially
inseminated, is the world’s oldest recorded mother. Iliescu’s
daughter was delivered by Cesarean section early yesterday, more
than six weeks short of a full 40-week pregnancy term, said a
hospital spokeswoman.
