Lord Diljit Rana of UK, member of House of Lords, was elected
president of GOPIO Int’l . Mr. Rana is a British politician
and member of the House of Lords. In 1966, he was awarded MBE for
his contribution to the economic regeneration of the city of Belfast
through the development of hotels, restaurants, fashion shops and
modern office accommodation.
Inder
Singh who completed his term as the president/CEO of GOPIO Int’l,
was elevated to head the international body. He is founder of "India
Association of Los Angeles", USA and also founder of "India
Heritage Scholarship Awards"

Ashook Ramsaran, Guyana born was elected as the Executive Vice
President.
On August 22, 2009, during the 20th Anniversary Celebration and
Convention 2009 at the Hotel Crowne Plaza La Guardia in New York,
USA, the result of the elections was announced.
Chairman Inder Singh, introduced new members of the world body
team at the glittering gala banquet on the evening of Aug 22nd at
the World Fair Marina. The following members of the team were present
at the event.

to global NRI/PIO community.
