JSS
Public School IN DUBAI GETEX-2005
to attract NRI students
to study in India
Mysore, Apr. 27 (DN)- The very name Dubai may bring
the images of desert, petroleum gas and gold jewellery.
But another image gaining ground these days, in high-decibel,
is education emerging in an amazing speed and thrust.
The recently held Gulf Education and Training Exhibition,
GETEX-2005, is just one example of the growth in education
sector in the UAE. Over 400 higher education providers
from 35 countries participated in the expo.
What is equally pleasing and healthy development
from this part of the globe is that one institution
from Mysore was there rubbing shoulders with the top
honchos of education and training programmes with
a pavilion.
JSS Public School, Ooty, run by JSS Mahavidyapeetha,
was there in GETEX-2005 to promote the school there
during the five days and to attract the prospective
NRI students to study in India, in the International
Residential JSS Public School in Ooty.
The team included K.K. Muthanna and K. Gowri Muthanna,
Principal and Vice-Principal of JSS Public School
in Siddharthanagar here apart from Puttarajappa, the
Superintendent of JSS Pharmacy College, Ooty.
The expo was inaugurated by the UAE Education Minister
Sheik Nahayan bin Mubarak Al-Nahayan, who is also
the Chancellor of UAE Universities.
The JSS team also visited the ultra-modern pharmaceutical
factory in Abu Dhabi Neo Pharma, which has a collaboration
with JSS Pharmacy College in Ooty.
