Ruby Dhalla is a committed leader with a history
of Community building.
Dr. Ruby Dhalla has embarked on the journey to
become a Member of Parliament for Brampton Springdale with the
same passion, enthusiasm and energy that she had when she started
volunteering with the Liberal Party at the age of 12. Working
with the people of Brampton-Springdale has given Ruby an appreciation
of the spirit found in this community.
Dr. Dhalla was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In 1995 she graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a B.Sc.,
and furthered her academic pursuits in Toronto, graduating in
1999 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Throughout her studies she continued
her commitment to public service by participating in numerous
endeavors including health care advocacy, small business development,
gender issues, multiculturalism and youth initiatives mostly on
a volunteer capacity.
Ruby has worked tirelessly to promote the participation
of women in Canadas political process and continues to be
a key contributor to the National Womens Commission.
As a dedicated and active Entrepreneur serving
the residents of Brampton-Springdale, Ruby understands the concerns
facing the local business sector. As a health care provider, Dr.
Dhalla is aware of the importance of having an effective and responsive
health care infrastructure that reflects the needs of all Canadians.

Ruby Dhallas commitments to the community of Brampton-Springdale
and to all Canadians. As one of the youngest female candidates
in this federal election Dr. Dhalla looks forward to inspiring
and motivating the next generation of Canadian Leaders.
