Doug Ford PC Wins Ontario election, 2025 along with 37 NRI Candidates

On February 27th, 2025, the Progressive Conservative (“PC”) party won its third majority government in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Ontario’s provincial election features 37 NRI candidates, aiming to surpass the current record of 11 legislators.
Doug Ford won a third majority government on Thursday night.
- Progressive Conservative party won 80 seats.
- The NDP won 27 seats and is once again the official Opposition.
- The Liberals won 14 seats to finally regain official party status.
- The Greens won two seats, and one seat went to an Independent.

Dusanjh said, "We took three vans and drove all the way up here and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. We got to the train, went four hours to the canyon and then it rained for 20 minutes, so we came back."
