SWORN IN FOR SECOND LEGISLATIVE TERM
VICTORIA, June 20, 2005
NRI, Dave S. Hayer from Surrey-Tynehead
started his second term today as he was sworn
in as MLA in the Legislature.
"I am honoured and privileged to have
won the support of the voters of Surrey-Tynehead
for a second time," Hayer said. "I'm
looking forward to making sure the issues and
ideas of my constituents are brought to the
Legislature and to the government."
Hayer was first elected to represent Surrey-Tynehead
in the 2001 general election.
"We've come a long way in four short years
- our province is an economic leader in Canada,
and we are investing more than ever before in
health care and education," Hayer said.
"I'm pleased to be part of the BC Liberal
team that will build on the progress over the
next four years."
