SUKHBIR RELEASES DEBUT CD OF NRI RANBIR CHAUHAN

Chandigarh, April 6: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister & President Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today released the debut CD 'First Love' of Ranbir Chauhan, Chief Executive Officer of Toronto based FM Radio Station Asian Connections.

Releasing the audio CD at his resident Mr. Badal said that he was happy to know that a broadcaster by profession, Mr. Chauhan has worked hard to realize his hobby of singing and came out with a beautiful collection of Punjabi lyrics. He said that he was hopeful that Mr. Chauhan would continue to work for promoting rich Punjabi culture in India as well as in Canada.

The audio album has been produced by Harjit Nagra and has been given music by Aman-Tarsem.
Mr. Badal also appreciated the unique NRI helpline programme launched by Mr. Chauhan to help NRI's in association with Punjab Government. He said that this helpline was quite helpful in checking the antecedents of NRI bridegrooms living in Canada and also to provide succor to NRI brides in distress.

It may be added that Mr. Chauhan is running FM 101.3 Radio Asian Connections in Toronto Canada besides coming out with a weekly English Newspaper as well as weekly T.V. Programme by the same name.
