was appointed as CEO (the Chief Executive Officer)
of Arcelor by the Board of Directors.
After his appointed, he said, "The
overarching priority for Arcelor Mittal is to successfully
integrate the two companies and deliver the merger
synergies and benefits. This is the key focus for
the Group Management Board and me, and one I am confident
we will achieve."
Lakshmi N Mittal will continue as President
of the Board of Directors. Roland Junck has stepped
down as Chief Executive and will continue as advisor
to the Chief Executive.
Group Management Board (GMB) will include
Roland Junck, Michel Wurth, G onzalo Urquijo, Ditya
Mittal, and Malay Mukherjee. Davinder Chugh will continue
his operational functions and report to the Chief
Executive Officer.
