NRI Anjali Sud named CEO of Fox’s streaming service Tubi

Fox Corp on Monday named NRI Anjali Sud, the former longtime head of video-sharing platform Vimeo, as the chief executive of its streaming service Tubi.

Sud recently stepped down as the CEO of Vimeo, after about nine years at the streaming platform. She will report into Tubi Media Group CEO Paul Cheesbrough.

Before Vimeo, Sud held positions in finance, media and e-commerce at Time Warner and Amazon.com. Sud, who will take over on Sept. 1, succeeds Farhad Massoudi, Tubi's founder and chief executive.

Tubi, launched in 2014, was acquired by Fox for $440 million in 2020.

Bio of Anjali Sud

Anjali Sud is CEO at Vimeo, the world’s largest ad-free online video service. In her past role as General Manager of the Creator Platform, she oversaw the day-to- day operations and long-term strategic growth of Vimeo’s creator business — serving a community of over 50 million video creators, filmmakers and organizations using Vimeo to upload and share their work. Anjali previously ran marketing at Vimeo, where she drove strategic growth through customer acquisition and retention, funnel optimization and brand building. Prior to Vimeo, she held various roles in e-commerce and media at Amazon and Time Warner.
