Promoting Female abortion

Opinions:

Dear sir,

I think, we are wasting our time for little things. News Paper- Ajit, Hamdard are good news papers for the development of punjabi community. We shall spend more time to educate our community such as drugs, dowry, marriage frauds and living as joint family mother-in- law and daughter-in-law problems

May be some individuals through CBC News media are trying to make a conflict between NRI sikh community. News papers are not doing any illegal things.

Regarding the free press, the First Constitutional Amendment is a guarantee of our basic freedoms. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Freedom of Speech: Freedom of expression is one of the most fundamental rights that individuals enjoy. It is fundamental to the existence of democracy and the respect of human dignity. It is also one of the most dangerous rights, because freedom of expression means the freedom to express one's discontent with the status quo and the desire to change it. As such, it is one of the most threatened rights, with governments - and even human rights groups - all over the world constantly trying to curtail it.

This debate is incredibly fierce because of the political, social, and moral implications of abortion. Religious Right leaders tend to be Pro-Life, while Feminists tend to be Pro-Choice. But there are many, many exceptions to this statement. In fact, most people fall somewhere in the middle on this particular debate.

  • Individual countries ultimately make their own abortion laws.
  • In Africa, most countries allow Therapeutic abortion, but in cases of rape, socio-economic factors and fetal defects, abortions are not allowed.
  • On demand abortions are illegal in almost every country.
  • In Asian countries like China, North Korea and Cambodia, all abortions are legal.
  • In Japan, abortions are only legal in the first and second trimester, and on demand abortion are not allowed.
  • In Europe, most countries have relaxed abortion laws, except for in Malta and Vatican City
  • In the Middle East, only Bahrain allows all types of abortion
  • In Canada and the United States, all types of abortion are legal, though on demand abortions are a bit more restricted in the US.
