NRI Rajan Zed appointed Nevada Trade Council

NRI, Rajan Zed has been appointed as one of the Board of Directors of Nevada World Trade Council (NEWTRAC). This is the state's international trade organisation. He was a journalist in India before migrating to United States.

Rajan is voluntary Chaplain in Saint Mary`s and other hospitals of northern Nevada; on Governing Board of Directors of Northern Nevada International Center; on Board of Directors of Nevada World Trade Council (NEWTRAC); and active in various other organizations. NEWTRAC, a non-profit professional business organisation, encourages and supports Nevada's economic diversification and growth by further developing state's international business opportunities, and provides resources, knowledge and skills necessary to conduct global trade.

He has also served on the Editorial Board of Reno Gazette-Journal, a Gannett newspaper. He is also in the Board of Directors of Washoe County Library Foundation and California State Employees Credit Union.

• Rajan got his MBA (Master of Business Administration) from University of Nevada-Reno; Master of Science in Mass Communications from San Jose State University, California; Bachelor of Journalism degree; Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations; Advanced Certificate in Management, Administration & Human Resources; Bachelor of Science; Certificate in Purchasing Management; Diploma in Financial Management; Advanced Certificate in Financial Bookkeeping & Accounting; Diploma in Industrial Safety; Certificate in Project Management; Certificate in Legal Affairs Reporting; etc.
