3 Indian students tragically lost their lives in a car crash in Georgia, USA, with two others sustaining injuries. The fatal incident, suspected to be caused by speeding, occurred on May 14 but details have only recently been disclosed.
The victims, all 18 years old, include Sriya Avasarala, Aryan Joshi, and Anvi Sharma. Sriya Avasarala and Aryan Joshi died instantly at the scene, while Anvi Sharma passed away later in hospital. The injured students, Rithwak Somepalli and Mohammed Liyakath, received medical attention at North Fulton Hospital in Alpharetta.
Sriya Avasarala was a member of the UGA Shikaari dance team, Anvi Sharma participated in UGA Kalakaar as a singer, and Aryan Joshi was known for his involvement in high school cricket. Joshi, set to graduate shortly after the accident, was remembered fondly by his cricket team for his unwavering support, which they credited as instrumental to their victories.
