SAD DEMANDS HIGH LEVEL PROBE INTO REGISTRATION OF BOGUS VOTES

The Shiromani Akali Dal alleged that large number of bogus voters are registered in the Khayala village of Rajouri Garden assembly constituency of Delhi from where SAD candidate Avtar Singh Hit is contesting on its party symbol 'Scales' in alliance with BJP. The SAD filed a written complaint in this regard to the Election Commission of India and demanded a high level inquiry into the matter and urged the ECI to delete all these bogus votes from the voter lists. It may be mentioned that Khayala village is the native village of the ruling Congress party Candidate Mr. A Dayanand Chandila A.

The SAD Secretary and Spokesperson Dr Daljit Singh Cheema alleged that a screening of the voter lists of Khayala village of the constituency reveals that in 18 different houses a total of 944 voters have been registered. This is practically not possible for so many persons to reside in a small house of 150 sq. yards. Because along with voters other members of their family also stay in the same houses.

Giving details about this scandal Dr. Cheema said that it has been seen that 134 voters are registered in House No. WZ 189 of Khayala village (part 15), 120 voters in house no. WZ 102 of the Khayala village(Part 13), 87 voters ere there in house no. WZ 101 and 80 voters are there in house no. WZ 40/1, (Part 12) which is the residence of Congress party Candidate from 27-Rajouri Garden assembly constituency. The name of the Congress candidate also exist in this house at serial no. 525 as A Dayanand Chandila A s/o Prahalad Singh Chandila. The commission has been provided with all minute details of the bogus entries.

The Shiromani Akali Dal has demanded that all bogus votes should be deleted without any delay and strict action as per law may be taken against the Congress party candidate.

With reference to the above subject it is submitted that large number of bogus votes have been detected in the voter lists of 27- Rajouri Garden assembly constituency. A screening of the voter lists of Khayala village of the constituency reveals that in 18 different houses a total of 944 voters have been registered. Avtar Singh Hit BJP-SAD combine candidate from Rajouri Garden Assembly Constituency today said that post meltdown job cuts especially in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Aviation, Banking and Financial Sectors have hit the youth of Delhi maximum as thousands of young highly educated and talented employees are being been shown door daily by their employers.

Blaming Congress for short-sighted policies to give all benefits to the employers without ensuring job security for their employees, S. Hit said that youth of Delhi was paying heavily for the disastrous pro- industry polices of UPA government.

He said that Dr. Manmohan Singh ignoring his Labour Minister's advice had diluted the provisions of labour Laws regarding job security for these companies and now these companies utilizing those relaxations for terminating the services of promising youth everyday.

Accusing 'economists duo' ruling this Country for total collapse of Indian economy, S. Hit said that Union Finance Minister in order to benefit his 'broker' son-in-law was manipulating the stock market where innocent investors have lost thousands of crores during last two months period alone.

He said that the time has come, that the people of Delhi should teach a lesson to Congress government that has ruined the lives of their children who despite of degrees obtained through high interest education loans are literally on roads.

Patron of Youth Akali Dal and Punjab's Youngest Cabinet Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today said that belted proposal of Haryana government to provide 1 Kg imported Channa Dal at Rs. 20 per Kg to BPL families was a shameless admission by Congress ruled states that ever rising prizes of essential commodities were set to decimate Congress from the poll scene in Lok Sabha elections.

S.Majithia said that when 18 months ago S. Parkash Singh Badal launched a scheme in Punjab to provide 35 kg wheat at Rs. 4 per kg and 4 kg Dal at Rs. 20 per kg to BPL families so called 'economists Prime Minister and Finance Minister' termed this measure as a populist measure. He said that now his own government had mooted this proposal half heartedly and so called economist Prime Minister was conveniently keeping his eyes shut.

S. Majithia said that it was unfortunate that whole India has been turned into 'Kalahandi' where lacs of BPL families had to sleep without food due to shooting prices of wheat, rice and dal. He said that Mr. Manmohan Singh has no right to govern when he can not provide two squares meal to every family of India.

Majithia appealed the voters of Delhi to give Congress a sound thrashing for its follies like ruining the economy of the country, ever increasing unemployment of highly educated and promising young Indians, sky rocketing prices of essential commodities and backing of murderers of thousands of innocent Sikhs in November '84 riots. He further appealed them to ensure pack up of ten long year misrule of Sheila Dikshit government in Delhi which proved inefficient for not providing basic civic amenities in this most important mega city of the country.
