Sital Dass Charitable Trust was going to organize free medical
camp Homeopathy and Allopathic dispensaries of Punjab civil Secretariat
on 21.01.2008.
Disclosing this here today Samita Das, Trustee of Charitable
Trust said that Samita Das Charitable Trust was specialized in
providing treatment for diabetes, blood pressure, Joint pains,
Migraine, Asthma and cancer based on Ayurvedic and acupressure
therapy. He said that many patients were cured in Chandigarh and
Talwandi Sabo through Ayurvedic acupressure system.

Revision of Electoral Rolls of Urban and Rural Local Bodies which
includes Municipalities, Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis and Zila
Parishad has been started from 14.01.2008. As per the existing
schedule, claims and objections indicating discrepancies in the
Electoral Rolls and supplements are to be filed between 14.01.2008
to 21.01.2008. On public request, it has been decided to extend
the period of filing such claims and objections by one week i.e.
upto 28.01.2008. Correspondingly, disposals of claims and objections
shall be decided on 04.02.2008 and the supplements printed on
09.02.2008. Final publication of printed electoral rolls shall
be on 15.02.2008.

The Punjab Government has extended the term of Punjab State
Planning Board for a period of five years i.e from 12-4-2007 to
11-4-2012.
This was disclosed by spokesman of the Planning Department that
in continuation of this department notification issued vide No.
10-6-89-2P/vol.11/259 dated March 2, 2006 the term of vice Chairman
Mr. J.S. Bajaj fixed for the period from 5-5-2007 to 4-5-2012.
The term of Four Members out of seven members fixed from 19-5-07
for two years are Sh S.P Oswal, Industrialist Vardman Industries
Ludhiana; Dr. G.S Kalkat former V.C, Punjab Agriculture University
Ludhiana, Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, V.C, P.AC. Ludhiana; Dr. R.C.
Sobti, V.C Panjab University Chandigarh. Two members from 11-6-07
to 10-6-09 are Dr. P.S Rana Ex-Chairman HUDCO and Mr. P.P Chauhan
Ex-Secretary Govt. of India and one member from 12-6-07 to 11-6-09
is Mr. G.S Tewatia Chief Engineer (Retd).
